You are invited to the 4th Annual Gathering of Church Bookstores
March 26 – 28, 2008 – at Lakewood Church - Houston, Texas

The Church Bookstore Network invites YOU to register for 3 days of training for church bookstore managers and their frontline staff.  This year’s event also offers a full training program for those looking to open a church bookstore in the near future.

Hosts Ted Terry, Jr., Janet McKinley, and Geni Hulsey (President, the Church Bookstore Network) invite you to this event, which will include training, fellowship, and an exhibit floor.  This year’s event is taking place at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas – winners of the 2007 Church Bookstore of the Year Award from the Church Bookstore Network.

Included in the schedule will be publisher luncheons and dinners – that will include authors and speakers like Joel Osteen, George Foreman, Kerri and Chris Shook, Tullian Tchividjian, Carole Lewis, Stephen Smith, and more!

Training sessions will be led by professionals who are actively leading successful church based stores.  These are people who face the same everyday challenges that you do in your stores.  A full training schedule can be reviewed on this site.  Session leaders include:

George Thomsen   Harvest Bookstore Riverside, CA
Deb & Kelly Graham   Prestonwood Bookstores Plano, TX
Bobby Williams Gateway Church    Southlake, TX
Jackie Johnson Cornerstone Methodist Bear, DE
Susan Chipman Granger Community Church Granger, IN
Heidi Bodette Daily Bread Books Lakeville, MN
Bill Tilley The Faithful Source Ashburn, VA

So save the dates – and come with a member of your staff to this year’s event.  Attend and learn the secrets that will help you to serve your congregation more effectively.
